Based on the 2001 novel and movie of the same name, “Legally Blonde: The Musical” follows our favorite sorority girl as she makes her mark at Harvard Law School, all in pursuit of her ex-boyfriend, Warner Huntington III (Patrick Kearney). When arriving at Harvard, Elle quickly learns Warner is engaged to a fellow student, Vivian (Rose Hutchison). To prove that she is serious about Warner and law school, Elle enlists teacher aid, Emmett (Daniel DeVera), to help her in school and eventually defend the exercise queen, Brooke Wyndham (Olivia Clavel-Davis). A Fairfax City man has been charged with reckless use of a firearm after allegedly firing a gun inside his home last week. The City of Fairfax Police Department says its officers responded to the 10000 block of Whitehead Street in the Old Fairfax Mews townhomes at 12:26 a.m. on July 15 after a resident reported that a gun was fired into their home.

Lower Sioux Indian Community One Of Two Tribes Selected For Small Business Funding
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Tina Smith (D-MN) announced Red Lake Nation and Lower Sioux Indian Community were selected to receive federal funding to support small business development in their communities. The Tribes will use the funding to help small businesses access credit, which can be difficult in Indian Country. Tribal communities are systemically under-banked, making it nearly impossible for small businesses to obtain the financing they need to grow. Tribal governments can remove these barriers by working directly with businesses in their communities. The funding was awarded through the Small Business Credit Initiative, which was reauthorized and expanded by the American Rescue Plan, which Senator Smith supported.
