Shooting claims life of 19-year-old man in Southeast DC: Police
WASHINGTON (7News) — A shooting claimed the life of a man in Southeast, D.C. Sunday afternoon, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Officers said they responded to the 200 block of 37th Place in Southeast, D.C. at around 2:11 p.m. for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers said they found a man, later identified as 19-year-old Jerry Hardy III, on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds.
No charges after crowbar attack and stabbing puts Alexandria brothers in hospital
No charges have been filed against two Alexandria brothers who were hospitalized with serious injuries after a fight in the West End earlier this month. The Alexandria Police Department responded to a stabbing call for service at an apartment in the 500 block of N. Armistead Street on Sunday, July 7. Police arrived and found the brothers on the floor of the apartment, according to a recently released search warrant affidavit.
