We’re in the home stretch of the spring sports season and things are heating up. Every time Marion County athletes step on the field or court they’re playing for something bigger than a win.

This week’s edition of the athlete of the week is filled with players who went yard multiple times in a single game, district champions, and other outstanding performances. Now it’s up to you to choose our next star athlete.

Vote once per hour for your favorite athlete. Share the poll on social media so friends and family can get in on the action. Voting will close Thursday at 2 p.m. Results post Friday morning.
