First Alert Forecast: Weaker winds with drier conditions expected until the weekend
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - High pressure will weaken and meander far northwest of the islands over the next several days as a low to the northeast develops and shifts westward as well. This will lead to a gradual weakening of the trade winds through the second half of the week. A drier and more stable airmass moving over the islands will then persist through the end of the week.Some bands of showers and enhanced moisture may move over the state Friday night into Saturday adding a uptick in clouds and showers to windward areas.
