Man arraigned on six felonies
BENONA TOWNSHIP – A 55-year-old man from Pleasant Lake has been arraigned on six felonies, according to information provided by Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. On July 2 at approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a report that a man who lived “off-the-grid,” as Mast explained, had shot and killed two dogs belonging to the person making the report. The victim, who was acquainted with the suspect, also told police the man made threats while holding a gun and that the suspect was not wearing clothes.
