Prosecutors: Mercer County man sentenced to prison for felony drug crimes
FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Mercer County man was sentenced to prison for felony drug crimes Tuesday following a three-day trial. Deron Adolph Yarrell, 28, of Bluefield, will serve seven to 38 years in prison for conspiracy to possess and intent to deliver fentanyl, oxymorphone and cocaine, according to a news release from the Fayette County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Yarrell has also been fined $6,000.
Miller honors former Raleigh County commission president Tolliver
BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Representative Carol Miller was in Beckley today to pay her respects to the family of Dave Tolliver, the former Raleigh County Commissioner. Tolliver passed away in June. He was a long-time public servant and commission president who served in the United States military and was a firefighter.
