Pros, Artists and Legends came out for the opening of Sixes & Sevens Skateshop in Oceanside, California

Yesterday was one of the biggest days the Oceanside, California skate scene has seen in years. Sixes & Sevens opened its second location in Oside accompanied by an art show by Sean Cliver and his Strangelove Skateboard s. Locals, collectors, and fans alike all turned out in droves to see the original pen and ink pieces, the cop/pig figurines, and to get all kinds of Cliver memorabilia signed by the legendary artist.

New Strangelove pro Monica Torres was in the shop signing limited edition prints of her new pro graphic. Turntable were set up outside with Matt Russell handling some DJing on vinyl. Grant Brittain stopped by with his pup, Steve Caballero, Christian Hosoi, and Salman Agah all stopped by to hang throughout the day as well.

The shop has plenty to look at on its walls as well: Photos from co-owner Jaime Owens, Skin Phillips, Blair Alley, and co-owner Paul Kobriger has his famed stipple portraits adorning shop walls as well.

Black Plague Brewing supplied refreshments while the Oside locs and fans of art and skateboarding hung out inside the shop and out front all afternoon. You've gotta stop by and check this place out when you're in the O.
