Man Critically Wounded in Stabbing Linked to Escondido Fight, Police Seek Witnesses and Suspects
An altercation on El Norte Parkway in Escondido resulted in a stabbing emergency yesterday, according to the Escondido Police Department. Responders were dispatched to a reported group fight at 345 W. El Norte Pkwy at approximately 1:42 PM, arriving at an empty scene. The story developed when, shortly after the police arrived, a local hospital alerted authorities to a male victim with stab wounds who is now in critical condition.
