The sanctuary, specializing in the care of injured, hurt, and abused cats, agreed to take the cat in and provide the necessary medical treatment. During the visit, director of the sanctuary revealed that she was on the brink of closing it down. She had been spending half of her income to keep the place running and was hoping for a sign to keep it open. Spencer and that little cat were the sign she needed. He started a GoFundMe page and as of this morning, it has raised over $188K. Additionally, four Amazon trucks loaded with donations arrived at the sanctuary, providing much-needed supplies. When being in the right place at the right time turns into something so much more. Spencer, THAT’S AWESOME.
