Former Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner signed his first NFL contract just in time to start training camp with the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings’ rookies reported for training camp on Sunday at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan, Minnesota, and the NFL team announced its first-round draft picks, Turner and Michigan quarterback J.J. ALDOT announces grants for municipal airports
The Alabama Department of Transportation today announced it has awarded over $22,000 in state funding to three municipal airports for improvements. The Ozark Municipal Airport in Ozark will receive $144,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration and $8,000 from a state grant for the construction of a corporate hangar. The airport will provide $8,000 in matching local funds for a total value project of $160,000.
