One person is dead after a double shooting in Talladega County. The Talladega Police Department says the shooting happened at 1620 Old Shocco Road on July 20, 2024. Unlicensed venue padlocked after mass shooting, another court hearing scheduled
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — We continue to follow up on the mass shooting that happened at the unlicensed venue in North Birmingham. The shooting happened on Saturday, July 13th just after 11:00 p.m. Four people were killed and ten others were injured. The venue was located at 3427 27th Street North, which did not have a business license.
Woman charged after high-speed police chase ends in Rainbow City
GADSDEN, Ala. (WBRC) - A woman has been arrested after a high-speed vehicle chase, initiated by the Gadsden Police Department, ended in Rainbow City Sunday morning. The Gadsden Police Department says in the early morning hours on Sunday, July 21, officers were called to the Clubview area in response to reports of a suspicious vehicle. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver, identified by police as Stephanie O’Bryant, fled the scene. O’Bryant led officers on a high-speed chase that reached speeds in excess of 100 mph.
