District theme is 'Reflection to Action'

Ector County ISD’s theme for the year is “Reflection to Action.”

This will be a year of reflection for leaders and staff — accompanied by focused action — as the district updates its strategic plan, starting with the Board of Trustees establishing new goals.

Reflection requires us to consider the work that has been done over the past several years, successes achieved, challenges that exist, and ways the school district can improve moving forward. Yet, the real power in reflection is the behavior it improves, the district newsletter said.
