Local volunteer EMT graduates from medical school
From her youngest days, Lauren Mazur knew she wanted to help people. Several health challenges as a young child drove her desire to give back and help other children. At the age of 15, she saw her opportunity to begin that journey by enrolling in an EMT class at the Good Fellowship EMS Training Institute. After completing her training shortly after turning 16, she put her new skills to work and volunteered at the West Grove Fire Company. With each call, it became clear that she wanted to dedicate her life to caring for children. She recalled one day when she responded to a motor vehicle accident that involved an injured child. While the rest of the crew treated the victims in the front seats, she treated the child in the back. The EMS crew transported the child to Christiana Care Trauma Center. As they arrived in the trauma bay, she was in awe of how the doctors worked as a team to treat the injured child. It was then that her sights turned to becoming a physician.

The Philadelphia Eagles Will Trade Jalen Hurts to the Las Vegas Raiders
Howie Roseman is an elite general manager at the NFL level. Time and time again, he performs “salary cap gymnastics” to put the best possible talent on the field for the Philadelphia Eagles. While these moves might seem brilliant in the present moment, the dollars spent always have to be accounted for eventually. The Jalen Hurts contract was a huge signing. The five-year, $255 million deal remains one of the largest contracts ever for an NFL athlete. Signing Hurts to an extension made sense when Roseman put together the offer. But after a disappointing end to last season, is it time for the Eagles to think about their future plans? If so, a Jalen Hurts trade would provide them with cash and salary cap relief, which they could use to extend more of their homegrown talent.
