Popular Odessa business impacted by major tech outages

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Popular local business Retro Hall was expected to have a special guest in house on Friday but due to the outages, the event was cancelled.

Retro Hall said voice actor Catero Colbert won’t be signing autographs at the store, alluding to his flight being affected by the IT outage. The owner thanked customers for their understanding and said Retro Hall is still committed to bringing in special guests.

“Due to the outage, he’s unable to be here today. He was originally supposed to be here at 2 o’clock, now he’s not going to be here until 10. He’s got prior commitments, so unfortunately, he’s not going to be able to do the in-store signing anymore. This was our kind of showpiece, I guess you could say, for the month, to try to get more customers to come in specifically for this weekend, because it’s definitely something that we don’t have a lot of in this area,” said Retro Hall Owner, Zachary Hall.

Retro hall also said anyone who has already paid for their place at the event can still pick up their merchandise at any time.
