    Ogden house fire causes $100K in damages, displaces two people

    OGDEN, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Fire crews in Ogden reported to a single-story house fire that caused an estimated $100,000 in damages on Saturday afternoon.

    Just before 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, officials responded to the scene and saw “active fire coming from the structure,” according to a press release from the Ogden City Fire Department .

    “Crews quickly mitigated fire conditions with fire contained to the attic space,” the press release said.

    Officials said the cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the damage caused by the fire is estimated to be about $100,000.

    No injuries were reported after the fire, but the Ogden City Fire Department said two adults have been displaced after the fire.

    Officials said 21 firefighters — from the Ogen City and South Ogden Fire Departments — responded to the scene, and brought a ladder truck, a rescue truck, a tiller, three engines and one ambulance. The Battalion Chief also responded to the scene.
