2nd Annual Fort Fest in Ogdensburg on July 20

OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWTI) –The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, Ogdensburg Community Office has announced they will host the 2nd Annual Fort Fest – Artist Festival on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fort Fest will be held simultaneously with the Fort LaPresentation Association’s “LeSiege du Fort de La Presentation” – a live re-enactment of land and water battles of the French and Indian War, scheduled for July 20 and 21, at Fort La Presentation.

The Fort La Presentation site is located at 22 Albany Avenue with plenty of space for vendors and re-enactment activities – such as:

• French, British, Native and Maritime Encampments;
• Children’s Activities;
• Historical talks;
• Demonstrations;
• Art & History Exhibits; and
• Food offerings.

Admission to LeSiege du Fort de La Presentation for  Fort Fest will be $5 for adults and $2 for children aged 6-16. Free admission will be granted for children on Sunday, re-enactment only,  with paid adults.
