Ohio County Board of Education Approves $1.3 Million Contract With United Dairy for 2024-25
WHEELING – Ohio County Schools will pay more than $1.3 million for milk and dairy products this coming school year. Board of education members this week approved a contract for $1,366,868 with United Dairy of Martins Ferry. United Dairy was the only bidder, according to Steven Bieniek, office manager for Ohio County Schools.

Ohio County Animal Shelter Reducing Adoption Fees
TRIADELPHIA — Local animal shelters have been offering adoptable cats and dogs at discounted prices in an effort to clear the kennels that are at capacity. The Ohio County Animal Shelter, 7011 National Road, Triadelphia, announced recently that it will be offering its cats and dogs for $30 instead of the regular price of $80. The fee includes some vaccines and a $51 voucher for spay/neuter services by a veterinarian.
