My recent visit to Boca was a delightful culinary journey. The food was above average, with the bread with mushroom and foie gras sauce, inflatable fries with cheese sauce, and scallops being the standout dishes. However, the cocktail I ordered didn't quite hit the mark, so I'd recommend pairing your meal with a glass of red wine, especially if you're having steak.
The restaurant's atmosphere is worth mentioning, but be prepared for a bit of a mess. The service, however, is what truly sets Boca apart. The waiter was knowledgeable, providing a fascinating history of the location and menu, and offered great recommendations. He also ensured that our dishes were served at the right time and that we always had what we needed.
The halibut and leek were a symphony of textures, flavors, and temperature surprises. The halibut was unexpectedly smoky and perfectly cooked, and when paired with the sauce, vegetables, mushrooms, and puree, it created an amazing bite. The Beef Wellington and Lobster roll also came highly recommended. Boca is definitely a place I'd recommend for any special occasion. Just remember, the portions might seem small if you're used to buffet-style servings, but the quality of the food and service more than makes up for it.
