Stepping into Parable Cafe, I was immediately struck by the lively atmosphere. The place was bustling, with every seat filled - a testament to its popularity. The interior was stylishly decorated, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch. I ordered the sunshower coffee shrub, a unique beverage that reminded me of the exotic taste of Guizhou sour soup fish. It was a novel experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The hand-poured coffee was pretty standard, but the beautiful latte art was a sight to behold. The pastries were amazing, especially the swirl croissants that seemed to sell out fast. I also noticed the unique specialty coffee and tea drinks that I'm eager to try next time. The vibe of this place is unmatched, it felt like a cozy oasis where I could easily spend my entire day.
The espresso bar menu was super unique, and the oat milk latte was solid. The sesame miso caramel latte had a good balance of flavors, and I'm definitely having it again. The baked goods were unique and always changing, and the apple cinnamon muffin and sweet potato biscuit were delightful. Despite the crowd, the peaceful atmosphere in the early hours was a pleasant surprise. I'm already planning my next visit to try all the seasonal specials and check out the After Dark cocktail bar. Parable Cafe is a gem in downtown Columbus, and I can't wait to return!
