My recent visit to KFC brought back a mix of emotions. I've always had a soft spot for their chicken nugget meal, which in the past, seemed like a delightful treat that could easily serve as two hearty meals. The nostalgia of those flavors had me yearning for more, with hopes of reliving those fond memories.
However, my latest experience was a stark contrast to my cherished recollections. The chicken I received was overcooked to the point of being dark, crusty, and dry. It was a disappointment, to say the least, and a far cry from the juicy tenderness I remembered. A fellow diner echoed my sentiments, lamenting the quality of the chicken, which seemed to have lost its freshness and appeared undercooked, a noticeable downgrade from the KFC they enjoyed back in Bangladesh.
The service, too, left much to be desired. The restaurant was understaffed, and the few employees present seemed overwhelmed, which did nothing to enhance the dining experience. The lack of courtesy was palpable, save for one or two servers who managed to uphold some semblance of manners amidst the chaos. Even the non-chicken options, like the fish, were reported to be consistently old. It's clear that this once-beloved spot has some improvements to make if it wishes to recapture the hearts of its patrons.
