Discovering French Delights at L'Albatros - A Must-Visit in Cleveland

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at L'Albatros, a charming spot that might be a bit tricky to find at night but is absolutely worth the hunt. The ambiance is quaint, quiet, and romantic, setting the perfect stage for a delightful meal. The appetizers kicked off a promising start, especially the 'French toast' appetizer which was simply divine. For the main course, the pork belly and lamb shoulder stood out with their rich flavors and perfect preparation. The pork belly was so good, in fact, that I found myself wishing for triple servings! The braised lamb shoulder, paired with root vegetables, was equally impressive, offering a hearty and flavorful experience. Although the desserts didn't leave a strong impression, the overall meal was satisfying. The staff deserves a shout-out too; they were stellar, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the evening. Despite a minor hiccup with a forgetful moment from our server, the experience was top-notch. I highly recommend L'Albatros for anyone looking for delicious French cuisine in a cozy setting. Don't miss out on their cheese plate and make sure to try the duck confit if you can; every dish seems to carry its own unique appeal!
