Vance, R-Ohio, on Sunday dismissed claims by former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley that former President Donald Trump brings "chaos." </p><p> The Ohio senator said in an <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/video/6345306586112" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow" target="_blank"> interview </a> with Fox News Sunday that he doesn't think Haley would "survive" the scrutiny he claimed the former president has been subjected to. </p><nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate><p> "Nikki does have baggage; she just hasn't faced the onslaught of years of media attacks, of super PAC attacks that Donald Trump has faced," Vance insisted, adding that he thinks Trump demonstrates "real political resilience." </p><p> Vance did not say what possible "baggage" Trump's female contender may have. </p><p> Vance, a vocal supporter of the former president, has <a href="https://themessenger.com/politics/sen-j-d-vance-responds-to-vp-speculation-im-gonna-help-trump-however-i-can" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow" target="_blank"> left the door open </a> to becoming Trump's running mate.
