Ohio Eatery Serves The Best 'Cheap Eats' In The State

You don't have to break the bank in order to enjoy a delicious dish that doesn't compromise on flavor just because it comes with a lower price tag. Plenty of restaurants offer diners options that pack a punch for a small price, giving them the biggest bang for their buck.

Cheapism searched for the best "cheap eats" around the country and compiled a list of the top dish in every state that will cost $12 or less, from gooey, chocolatey desserts to regional takes on classic dishes. According to the site, the best inexpensive dish in all of Ohio are the cheese coneys served at Blue Ash Chili in Cincinnati, with the coney found at Gold Star named the runner-up.

"The Cincinnati version of a coney is topped with onions, mustard, and chili spiced with cinnamon and chocolate. Cheese coney come topped with all of that plus a mound of shredded cheddar, and some of the best are found in the city's famous chili parlors like Blue Ash Chili, where the classic cheese coney is $3, and at Gold Star, where the cheese coney comes tucked inside soft and fresh buns."
