    Cuyahoga Heights' Cade Davies picks Capital University as college choice

    Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio- Cade Davies the 6'3 sharp shooting swingman from Cuyahoga Heights has made his college decision on where he will extend his basketball talent.

    Davies' chose the Comets of Capital University a Division III school located in Bexley, Ohio a suburb of Columbus, Ohio playing out of the Ohio Athletic Conference where they finished 10-8 in the conference and 16-10 overall.

    Programs such as John Carroll, Mount Union also play in the same conference two powerhouses when it comes to the OAC Conference.

    Davies' finished his high school career on a high note scoring 21 points per game adding 4 rebounds and 2 assist per game, first team All District Division III and holding a 3.9 grade point average.

    He also helped Cuyahoga Heights to 44 team wins the last two seasons completing three years at the school respectively.

    "I want to thank Cuyahoga Heights and the coaching staff for an amazing past three years, I couldn't have grown into the person and player I am today without them and my great teammates," said Davies according to his 'X' post formally known as Twitter account dated back in March.

    The Comets are getting a really good student athlete in Davies, can score the ball, plays the game the right way, very coachable, good teammate just from Ohsfbmedia observation from covering them, he also has a great family and family support that comes along.

    Head Coach Damon Goodwin got a good one to join his program moving forward into the '24-'25 season.
