Richmond Heights, OH- Ohio State men's basketball program secured its first commit of 2025, four-star guard Dorian Jones, a highly recruited guard who just came off an OHSAA State Championship season.

Jones the 6'4 all-around athlete held offers from schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Rutgers and others after receiving over two dozen offers leading up to his commitment.

"I had a couple people ask me if a weight was lifted off my shoulders, but I said actually, no. I've still got to get ready for college, and that's like a whole new level of ball," Jones said to the Columbus Dispatch.

Richmond Heights and Jones completed a trifecta capturing the schools third straight state title back in March in the division IV title game versus Berlin Highland at the University of Dayton Arena, Jones scored a modest 13 points in a game they controlled from the tip-off.

Things are looking real promising in buckeye land, Deibler seems to understand he has a boat load of talent right in his backyard.
