Northwestern State University president to visit Shreveport-Bossier
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — New Northwestern State University President James T. Genovese will officially visit Shreveport-Bossier on Tuesday for the first time. According to a media release, President Genovese will attend Governor Jeff Landry’s 2024 State of the State Luncheon in Bossier City, then tour the Northwestern State University Nursing School campus at 1800 Line Avenue in Shreveport.

Mother shares her struggles as nationwide shortage of ADHD medication continues as school begins

(KSLA) - The mother of a child with ADHD is sharing her experiences and struggles getting ahold of her child’s medication amid a nationwide shortage. “It has been the most horrible experience, and it’s really been a hard experience as a parent. I ended up being on the phone to the doctor’s office crying because no one has it, and I’ve asked them, ‘What do I do?’” Jennifer Dykes said.
