Caddo Parish charter is under its quadrennial review. Here’s what that means.
Those responsible for reviewing and recommending changes to the Caddo Parish charter were officially charged with their duties Wednesday morning. The Caddo Parish Charter Review Commission, a body assembled every four years to examine and propose changes to the document setting the foundation of parish government, assembled in downtown Shreveport Wednesday. Though the charter review commission will not begin the work for which they were appointed until a later meeting with the aim of completing their job by the end of the year, Wednesday marked the first step in that process as members were given their marching orders and organized for future meetings.

Former KTBS news director Bill Lunn has been cleared of accusations against him following an investigation by the Shreveport Police Department. Lunn was investigated after an incident where he was accused of messaging an online profile that appeared to belong to an underage girl.
