The search is underway for a missing Ventura County woman with autism who hasn’t been seen by her family for three weeks.

21-year-old Zyanya Valora was last seen by her family on June 25 at their home in Ojai, north of Ventura. Her family is offering a $10,000 reward. KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian spoke to Damaris Doc, Valora’s mom, about the disappearance.

“We are suspecting that it was in the early morning or during the night, early morning on Tuesday, because the wifi got a ping from her phone,” she said.

Doc is worried her daughter may have had some sort of a depressive episode. She said this has happened before, but they were able to find her quickly. Doc said if anybody sees Valora, she’ll connect with them if they speak to her about her loves in life – animals or Taylor Swift.

“We are just asking that any sightings, if you can spend five minutes with her while you just call the police and tell her something just unrelated to anything, she probably will listen to you. And if you just can stay with her a little bit while the police come,” Doc said.

Valora is 90 pounds, 5 feet tall, has dark hair, dark eyes, and has a distinct mole under her left nostril. She’s autistic and considered at-risk.
