Kristen Martines Named Principal Of Barranca Elementary School
Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) has announced that Kristen Martines has been selected as the new Principal at Barranca Mesa Elementary School. Martines is a former Los Alamos Middle School Hawk and Los Alamos High School Hilltopper. She graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading. She earned her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from New Mexico Highlands University and then earned her administrative license.
Dancers flock to Las Cruces for Arts Lab Desert Peaks, plan public performance
For the fourth year since its inception, Arts Lab Desert Peaks is hosting dancers from around the U.S. in a two-week workshop in Las Cruces.
