    A new interstate highway may be in Oklahoma's future.

    It may take years, but highway department officials are making plans for a new east-west interstate highway connecting I-35 in Oklahoma City with I-49 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The new freeway, I-412 would run across the eastern half of the state north of Tulsa paralleling 1-40 to the south.
