OKLAHOMA CITY Recognized as a leader in construction management, Dale Smith of Willowbrook was voted Superintendent of the Year by the American Subcontractors Association of Oklahoma (ASA of OK).

He was honored recently at the ASA annual gala in Oklahoma City.

“What a great honor,” said Smith, who has 45 years in construction, including 17 years as a senior superintendent for Willowbrook, a full-service construction company in Oklahoma. “I’m grateful to earn this award. This is a nomination from subcontractors we work with and are voted on by them. We aim to serve our clients with the best possible outcomes and safety.”

The mission of ASA of OK is to promote and develop the fair representation of construction industry subcontractors and vendors through advocacy and education. The ASA holds its annual gala to celebrate excellence in construction.

Smith manages projects from inception to completion, prioritizing safety on the job site. Recently, he has been building several projects for Deer Creek Public Schools, including the new Knight Ridge Elementary, the Transition Center and the new 4th and 5th Grade Center.

“Our people devote themselves to producing great results for our clients,” said Willowbrook President Weston DeHart. “We’re proud of Dale’s work and the way he collaborates with others to produce results.”
