OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – An Oklahoma City family used what happened to former president Donald Trump on Saturday as an opportunity to teach their boys a lesson on humanity.

Roy and Paul Inman frequently visit the Mat Hoffman Skate Park near downtown Oklahoma City. They recently noticed graffiti that bothered them—the phrase “shoot a politician” tagged on the concrete. The boys, with the help of their father, decided to remove the words.

The family took paint remover and supplies to the park Sunday and got to work.

“We’re going to go erase some graffiti,” said Roy.

The two spent about 30 minutes in the heat scrubbing and removing the words. It was a small, but meaningful message to everyone regardless of their political views.

“It’s one of the worst things in human society,” said Roy. “Shooting people.”
