OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Early morning streetcar riders should expect to see temporary service changes this week as OG&E plans “exploratory work” for the new downtown arena.

According to a service alert from EMBARK, the streetcar routes will be serviced by an EMBARK bus from Tuesday, July 23, until Thursday, July 25, between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.

Riders will be able to board the bus, which will have a head sign reading “Special Service” at any of the streetcar platform locations.

EMBARK says real time vehicle tracking will be unavailable during these hours, so riders should plan for extra travel time during the temporary bus service.
