If whiskey is your spirit of choice, then this October, the Whiskey Riot festival may be exactly the event you're looking for.

With entry to the festival Oct. 12, guests can try more than 200 whiskeys and bourbons from local, regional, national, and international brands, plus sip on whiskey cocktails, meet master distillers, and more.

The event will benefit the Family Meal Hospitality Trust, a nonprofit that supports struggling hospitality workers facing financial, emotional, or mental health challenges.

Tickets are available at two pricing tiers, general admission and VIP. General admission tickets are $80 and include whiskey and bourbon sampling, an official Whiskey Riot tasting glass, and whiskey cocktails. VIP tickets are $105 and include the same perks as general admission plus special access to limited edition and rare whiskies and bourbons and an exclusive VIP hour ahead of general Whiskey Riot start time and premium access to every whiskey brand and cocktail bar.

The event will include food on site for purchase, but organizers recommend eating a meal before attending.
