Donald Trump's vice presidential pick JD Vance is scheduled to be in Oklahoma City this week raising money for the Republican presidential campaign.

The event is private, and there is no public rally scheduled for the Ohio senator.

According to a copy of the invitation posted online , Gov. Kevin Stitt, U.S. Sen. Markwayne Mullin and Attorney General Gentner Drummond will be in attendance.

Guests will pay at least $5,000 to attend a luncheon. A photo with Vance will cost another $10,000. Those willing to shell out between $25,000 and $100,000 can sit at a roundtable discussion or be a part of the host committee.

    Who is JD Vance?

Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, 39, grew up in Jackson, Kentucky and Middletown, Ohio. He chronicled his childhood, plagued by abuse, alcoholism and poverty, in his 2016 memoir “Hillbilly Elegy.” Vance joined the Marines Corps after high school before attending Ohio State University and Yale Law School, where he met his wife Usha. He also made a name for himself in the tech world as a venture capitalist in Silicon Valley.

Vance was elected to the Senate in 2022 after defeating Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan for the open seat left by retiring Sen. Rob Portman.
