    Vance to be keynote speaker at private OKC luncheon, fundraiser

    JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential candidate and U.S. senator, is expected to speak at a private luncheon this Friday in Oklahoma City .

    The event, which also is being billed as a fundraiser for the Trump/Vance campaign, also listed Gov. Kevin Stitt, Attorney General Gentner Drummond and U.S. Sen. Markwayne Mullin as guests.

    Citing security issues, GOP officials would not say where the event was being held, and there is no public rally scheduled for the Ohio senator. Vance's Oklahoma City trip comes just about a week after he was named to the Republican ticket during the GOP's convention in Milwaukee.
