The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City has opened a new exhibit, Find Your West. This unique exhibit uses 27 projectors and over 23 million LED lights to create an immersive experience. The project was made possible by donations from The Harold Hamm Foundation, Continental Resources, and Larry and Polly Nichols, and involved more than 50 people from five countries.

The exhibit, created by Lighthouse Immersive, covers 3,000 square feet and features four sections. Each section tells the story of Cowboy, Native American, Ranching, and Rodeo cultures, both past and present. The exhibit is located in The Cowboy’s West Hallway.

Pat Fitzgerald, President and CEO of The Cowboy, thanked the donors for their support. He believes the exhibit will offer a fresh perspective on historical events and Western life today.

The Find Your West exhibit is part of The Cowboy's 'Live the Code' capital campaign, which aims to raise $40 million to update the Museum’s guest experiences and infrastructure. Larry Nichols, a museum board member, highlighted the importance of interactive experiences in modern museums.

Lighthouse Immersive, the company behind the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit, was chosen for this project due to their previous success in Oklahoma City. Co-Founder Corey Ross expressed his pride in their work and his anticipation for future projects.
