I recently had the pleasure of visiting a delightful spot that's a must-visit for any tea lover – Gong Cha. Although it's a gem that Bostonians are missing out on, it's definitely worth the trip if you're in the area. My taste buds were treated to the creamy delight of a taro smoothie, which was an absolute treat. While the strawberry milk tea didn't quite hit the mark for my companion, the experience as a whole was thoroughly enjoyable.

The ambiance of Gong Cha adds to the charm with its unique and beautiful lighting, cozy decorations, and comfortable furniture. It's not just a feast for the palate but also a treat for the eyes. The drinks menu is impressively customizable, allowing you to tailor your beverage to your exact liking. I went for the Dolce Coffee Smoothie with added Oreo crumbs and pudding – and let me tell you, it was divine! The customer service was top-notch, friendly, and patient, making the experience even more pleasant.

Although I missed out on trying their waffles, which I heard are the perfect blend of crispy and chewy, it's just another reason to go back. And I definitely plan to, especially to indulge in my new favorite, the Taro Milk. Next time, I might skip the star jelly, but that's the fun of Gong Cha – experimenting with flavors and toppings to craft your perfect drink.
