STENNIS SPACE CENTER (GG) —Rhonda Lavigne, a native of Pass Christian, Mississippi,received NASA’s prestigious Space FlightAwareness Silver Snoopy Award Aug. 21 during an onsite ceremony held at NASA’s Stennis SpaceCenter near the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Saturday sports: Northpoint soccer wins Smoky Mountain division tournament
Lewisburg competed in the Boddie Tournament at Hoover, Ala. and finished ninth. Center Hill competed in the Ramp Up x Spartan Showdown. DeSoto Central boys finished second to Arlington, Tenn. 56-66 in the 4A-7A Division at the New Albany meet Saturday. Olive Branch boys were sixth as a team and Center Hill finished 11th.
