Om: ‘Live at Pioneer Works’ Video Posted From 2019 Brooklyn Show
This show happened in Dec. 2019, just as the world was getting ready to end (again; ah the cycles of death and renewal!), and captures Om at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, New York, vivid in deep hues of blue and green. It’s not the full set — included are opener “Gethsemane” and “State of Non-Return,” which followed, and a concluding take on “Bhima’s Theme”; timestamps below are courtesy of YouTuber @orion_cliff, who left them in a comment; I chased down the whole setlist, also below, with the barest modicum of internetular research — but it’s Om, playing live, professionally recorded. I don’t know what you had in mind for the next half-hour or so of your life, but if you look at the percentages, the greater likelihood is you’re better off spending it in the virtual company of Al Cisneros‘ bass tone anyhow. Whatever else it was can wait.
Has the Ondrej Palat contract been THAT bad?
Two summers ago, the New Jersey Devils were looking to make yet another splash in free agency. And why not? Twelve months earlier, they convinced Dougie Hamilton to come to New Jersey. The Devils, despite having a down year in 2021-22, were viewed as a team on the cusp of turning the corner and being a really good hockey team, if only they could get the right supporting pieces around their young core. They had cap space to play with at the time, thanks in part to the team-friendly deals that Nico Hischier and Jack Hughes had already signed, as well as with PK Subban’s $9M AAV contract expiring. And their younger high-end prospects were years away from contributing anything at the NHL level. The time to go for it and spend money is now!
Leave It To Rihanna To Make A Sports Jersey & Camo Pants Feel So Luxe
For most It girls — think Hailey Bieber, Gigi Hadid, and Lori Harvey — their go-to top for off-duty occasions is almost always a white baby tee. Why, you ask? Well, it’s a trusty basic that can be dressed up or down to fit various aesthetics. However, according to Rihanna, a head-turning sports jersey is just as versatile as Bieber’s favorite T-shirt. If you’re apprehensive, RiRi’s got you covered in terms of style inspo. While out and about in New York on July 23, Rihanna styled a sporty street style outfit, complete with the aforementioned jersey and camouflage bottoms.

For our own good: how the psychology of ‘nudging’ pushes us to make healthier choices – and raises ethical dilemmas
On 13 May 2021 Bill de Blasio, then mayor of New York City, held an online press conference where he announced an intriguing agreement between the city and Shake Shack, a local chain of burger restaurants. The aim was to get New Yorkers vaccinated against Covid-19 – each vaccinated individual would receive a coupon for a free burger or sandwich at any of the local chain’s locations. In behavioural science, this kind of incentive is known as a “nudge”.
