Albany, NY – Residents of Albany are preparing for a severe heatwave as the Climate Prediction Center forecasts a significant rise in temperatures. A 70 to 80 percent chance of above-normal temperatures has been predicted, with a 40 to 60 percent likelihood of excessive heat for the first week of August.
