NEW YORK (AP) — The New York judge who ordered Donald Trump to pay a nearly $500 million civil fraud judgment said Thursday he won’t step aside from the case, rebuffing concerns that the verdict was influenced by a brief conversation he had with another lawyer as a “nothingburger.”
Helicopter crash kills pilot in Jefferson County
West Carthage, N.Y. -- A man died early Saturday morning after his private helicopter crashed in Jefferson County, troopers said. Around 11:16 a.m., state police responded to the area of 64 Liberty St. in the village of West Carthage for report of a helicopter crash, according to Trooper Jennifer Jiron, a spokesperson for the State Police.
