BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - This morning will start with fog in most areas, which will burn off as the temperature increases throughout the morning, giving way to sunny skies. High temperatures today will range in the upper 80s and lower 90s for inland communities, with the coast reaching up to the mid 80s. Dew points will remain in the mid to upper 60s. You can expect a very hot and humid day. Sunday night will be clear with low temperatures throughout the 60s.
Storm Chances In The Northeast
Scattered showers and storms developed across the Northeast today bringing gusty winds and hail. Philadelphia, PA recorded a gust of 64 mph. The severe threat will continue into Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, we see a combination of hot temps and high dew points combined with a frontal boundary to provide enough lift and instability for very strong storms to develop. Strong damaging winds will be the biggest concern.
