Indianapolis Man Sentenced To 16 Years In Prison For Drug Possession And Aggravated Battery
On Friday, a narcotics possession charge and his involvement in an October 2021 shooting led to a 16-year prison sentence for an Indianapolis man. IMPD officers from the Northwest District responded to a report of a person shot on Oct. 18, 2021, in the 5500 block of W 38th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult female who had suffered gunshot wounds. She was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
