Man dies in motorcycle crash during pursuit
TEXARKANA, Ark. (KSLA) - Three motorcyclists led Arkansas police on a chase that resulted in the death of one of the drivers. Residents of Westwood and the broader community were shaken early Saturday morning when a parking lot gathering spiraled into violence. According to Action News 5, two individuals were injured in a shooting at the Westwood Community Center parking lot at 810 Western Park Drive. Memphis Police Department (MPD) officers arrived on the scene just before 1:30 a.m. to find a 2024 black Toyota Rav4 crashed into a tree, its driver's side rear window shattered by gunfire.

Memphis authorities have recently charged a man with theft of property allegedly worth between $10,000 and $60,000 after he was found in possession of a stolen vehicle, authorities said. WREG News Channel 3 reports that the suspect, Marshawn Roberts, was discovered hiding in a dryer during a police search. The incident unfolded after detectives with the Memphis Police Fugitive Unit received a tip regarding Roberts' location on Friday at 9:30 a.m., when they sought to apprehend him on multiple outstanding felony warrants at a residence in the 2400 block of Rammesses Street.
