Numerous violations Lead To Closure Of Largest Nursing Home In MT
Montana Free Press is reporting that The Ivy at Great Falls will be closing in August 2024. Montana's largest nursing home is being closed due to a litany of patient safety violations for years. The Ivy at Great Falls was terminated from the federal Medicaid and Medicare programs in July of 2024.
1 dead in crash on Highway 2 in Kalispell
KALISPELL, Mont. — The Kalispell Police Department is reporting a fatal crash on the 1100 block of Highway 2 West in Kalispell. One person died from their injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
FVCC’s Festival of Flavors tickets available Aug. 1
Flavor is the focus at Flathead Valley Community College in September. The theme of the 17th annual Festival of Flavors is The Crush, “that moment when the grape harvest comes to a close and the juices are extracted, bringing the community together in support of the harvest.” All proceeds from the FVCC Foundation event go to student scholarships.

Aggregation of lots sets city up for purchase of poplar farm
(Missoula Current) A collection of lots off Mullan Road would be realigned under a request by the property’s owner, making them more marketable for future development.
