A missing child investigation from the Olney Police Department led to the arrest of Jordan Grayson on charges of online solicitation of a minor under 14 years old and promotion of prostitution related to an alleged incident from May.

Grayson, 30, was arrested Sunday, June 2 in Olney on the two charges and remained in jail as of the afternoon of Thursday, June 6 on a total bond of $1 million.

Two members of OPD were working a missing child case Friday, May 24 for the victim who is from Wichita Falls, according to a probable cause affidavit. The officers were able to track the victim through the Live 360 app on their phone to the 1300 block of W. Oak St.

The officers cross-referenced a name heard by the victim's mother on a phone call with the victim with a list from the Olney Housing Authority, which revealed a resident with the same name who lived in an apartment on W. Oak St.

The officers contacted that resident at their apartment and located the victim in the apartment. The victim was interviewed and stated they got a ride from Grayson, who they spoke with on Instagram.

Grayson picked the victim up and drove them to the Olney apartment where they smoked weed and drank alcohol. Grayson’s truck was identified as a maroon Dodge 1500.

The victim’s phone was seized as evidence of possible drug and human trafficking.

The two individuals at the apartment were interviewed and stated the victim was dropped off and Grayson “needed them to watch (the victim) and would be back in about an hour to pick (them) up.” The two would not submit a statement from the event.
Officers obtained information Friday, May 24 from the victim’s Instagram regarding the messages between Grayson and the victim.

There were conversations regarding buying drugs such as marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, Xanax and hydrocodone. After telling the victim the cost of the drugs, which was around $200-250, the victim offered to pay in “another way.” Grayson suggested sexual photos as payment and asked if the victim and any of their friends would be interested in performing sexual acts for money.

The victim sent sexual videos to Grayson and gave him their address. After being asked the ages of the people the victim would be visiting, Grayson said they were in the 40-50-year-old range.

Grayson drove to Wichita Falls to pick up the victim and then back to Olney, dropping them off at the apartment with the two individuals who matched the description in previous messages from Grayson.
