Arkansas secures commitment from 2025 5-star point guard
One of the nation’s top uncommitted 2025 prospects has now officially made a decision as to where he will play college basketball, as highly-touted point guard Darius Acuff Jr. has committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Acuff announced his commitment to Arkansas on Friday afternoon over two other finalists in the Kansas Jayhawks and Michigan Wolverines. As mentioned previously, Acuff is one of the nation’s top overall prospects, considered as a five-star point guard out of IMG Academy in Florida. Acuff, the nation’s No. 8 overall player in the 2025 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, is also the top point guard in the country, as well as the No. 2 player in the state of Florida. The commitment of Acuff is now the first in Arkansas’ 2025 recruiting class, which also makes the Razorbacks the lone SEC program to receive a five-star commitment so far this cycle.
