    The Chicago Blackhawks conclude their season-opening road trip Tuesday when they visit the Calgary Flames at 8 p.m. CT. Chicago is fresh off its first win of the campaign while Calgary's perfect record is one of the NHL's early-season surprises.

    The Blackhawks own a 1-1-1 record after a mix of results to date on their West Coast swing. Chicago last played Saturday and notched an impressive 5-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

    The Flames are 3-0-0, a surprising mark for a team expected to finish in the middle to the bottom of the pack this season. Calgary last played Sunday and logged a 4-1 road win over the Oilers.

    Tuesday marks the first of three meetings between the Blackhawks and Flames this season. Chicago took two of three games in last season's series, recording a 3-1 win in the most recent meeting on March 26 at the United Center.
