The basketball sickos in Bulls Nation were given a special treat in the Chicago Bulls' third preseason game Monday as the team auditioned its Exhibit-10 training camp signings in heavy minutes for the final guaranteed-salary roster spot, currently held by Chris Duarte. On the other side of the spectrum, the Milwaukee Bucks played their core starters and rotational players 20-plus minutes en route to a 111-107 victory over the Bulls.

Billy Donovan Digs Deep into His Bench

Billy Donovan went 12 deep into his bench thanks to presume starters Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, Coby White, and Patrick Williams sitting out Monday's preseason contest against the Bucks. As a result, devoted Bulls and Windy City Bulls fans were rewarded with 32:49 minutes of Adama Sanogo who pushed the envelope in his offense, shooting 1/2 from the three-point line and scoring 16 points overall.

Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis also delivered another solid offensive contribution scoring 15 points off the bench, while Chicago native Talen Horton-Tucker chipped in 15 points of his own.

    Josh Giddey Finds His Shot

Three-point shooting looked less like Josh Giddey's kryptonite in Milwaukee as he shot 3/4 from the three-point line. On the other hand, the rest of Giddey's offensive numbers were modest relative to his typical output — 12 points, five assists, and three rebounds.

    Julian Phillips Momentum

Julian Phillips delivered consistent offensive impact until his night was cut short in the second quarter due to a rib contusion. Phillips didn't return to the game in the second half and finished the evening with 10 points and two rebounds, shooting 2/6 from the three-point line.
